As dusk settles over Rotorua’s geothermal valley, you’ll spend around two hours and 45 minutes enjoying a Maori cultural evening with a hangi buffet dinner, a 45 minute kapa haka performance and a twilight geyser walk.

Next, step into the beautifully carved meeting house, Te Aronui a Rua, for an official pohiri welcome followed by waiata, moteatea, poi and a stirring haka. To round out the night, wander down to the geyser terrace for a close-up view of Pohutu Geyser, then enjoy a hot chocolate while you take in the natural geothermal warmth nearby.
