Meet your guide in the morning at your choice of Wellington location before heading north to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Feel the pace slow around you as you head north en route to your first destination, Pukerua Bay. Stop for photos of Kapiti Island the coastline before heading through Raumati to Paraparaumu Beach and on to the internationally acclaimed Southwards Car Museum.

Enjoy lunch at a local favourite, the Long Beach Cafe in Waikanae. Then, visit Nga Manu Nature Reserve for a unique opportunity to have hands-on experience with nature. See New Zealand’s rare brown Kiwi and meet come up close with native birds in the walk through aviaries.

Continue the trip north to visit the sleepy townships of Otaki or visit a restored Maori church before heading back south to Wellington, but not before a stop in Paraparaumu at either the Tuatara Beer factory or the Chocolate factory, the choice is yours. Return to Wellington at approximately 4.30pm.
