Experience ziplining through the stunning Rakanui Station, crossing the Kahutara River in a 4x4 Unimog vehicle and bushwalking through native New Zealand Forest.

This 3.5-hour eco-tourism adventure begins in the centre of town at EcoZip's home base, where your guides will prep you for your 15-minute scenic shuttle ride south to the gear up and staging location. From there, you'll transfer to a custom-built Unimog 4X4 that will carry you through the intertwined freshwater streams of the Kahutara River and onto Rakanui Station. Rakanui Station is a beautiful 3000-acre working farm featuring rolling valleys, native trees, trickling rivers, cascading waterfalls, and lush farmland. Here, you'll embark on a short natural trail through native New Zealand forest, guided by two expert local guides who will share the history of the region and stories of the local people. Next up your tree-top adventure begins with 2.2km of high-flying fun across five giant ziplines, ranging from 250m to 610m in length, where you'll enjoy bird's-eye views of the mountains and the ocean.
