Prepare yourself for a blissful morning with a spectacular sunrise hot air balloon flight over the Canterbury Plains. After a courtesy transfer to the launch site, watch as your colourful ride comes to life during the balloon inflation, before jumping on board and rising slowly above the ground. Hold your breath as stunning vistas of the snow-covered Southern Alps to the Pacific Ocean come into view, illuminated by the dreamy colours of sunrise, as well as the region's famous patchwork landscape. Upon landing, enjoy a chilled glass of champagne and cheers to your unforgettable morning.

Session Length

Please allow 4-5 hours for this experience. The actual flight time is approximately one hour
The meeting time varies throughout the year as it is a sunrise flight
Available seven days a week year-round

Restrictions

Not recommended for pregnant women over 12 weeks.

Guidelines

Maximum individual weight is 130kg
Children are 12 yrs and under but must be a minimum of 1.1m or taller

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
