Greet the hues of sunrise as you float peacefully in a hot air balloon over the picturesque Canterbury Plains. Stare in awe as the sun casts dreamy rays across the snow-peaked Southern Alps to the Pacific Ocean, as well as the gorgeous patchwork paddocks and farmland below.
Prepare yourself for a blissful morning with a spectacular sunrise hot air balloon flight over the Canterbury Plains. After a courtesy transfer to the launch site, watch as your colourful ride comes to life during the balloon inflation, before jumping on board and rising slowly above the ground. Hold your breath as stunning vistas of the snow-covered Southern Alps to the Pacific Ocean come into view, illuminated by the dreamy colours of sunrise, as well as the region's famous patchwork landscape. Upon landing, enjoy a chilled glass of champagne and cheers to your unforgettable morning.

The provider will contact you around 7pm the night before the flight to confirm weather, meeting time and what gear to wear and bring. If you do not hear from them by 8pm, please contact them directly.

Ballooning Canterbury has the right to refuse any passenger in ill health, intoxicated or under the influence of drugs and unfit for participation in this activity.
