Enter the immersive geyser light trail, which will take you on a thrilling journey through time and culture with the illuminated natural landscape. Wander through the fascinating 1.5 km trail with multiple scene locations and guided by music from local artist Maisey Rika.
Follow the path of the Marama light trail and spend 60 minutes exploring culture, art and innovation across the illuminated landscape and geysers. Enter through the colourful starting point, and let the interactive installations along the 1.5 km walkway blow your mind and touch your soul. Discover the stunning landscape in a new light, as each light show brings to life a new aspect of the location and lifts it out of the shadows. See the geysers erupt with an array of colours and lasers. All accompanied by the soundscape of Maisey Rika's music to guide your journey.
Along the way, stop by the Terrace to enjoy a treat or beverage before heading towards the magnificent Pohutu Geyser. Pass through the traditional setting of Pikirangi Village and end the journey with the brilliance of Te Ao Marama in the valley. This seasonal experience offers a new and interactive way of exploring the natural beauty of the region, suitable for all ages.
