Step into a haven of relaxation and renewal with Wai Whakat?, our one-hour restorative bathing experience in Rotorua. Bathe across five pools fed by mineral-rich geothermal water drawn directly from the earth, each one designed to restore balance across mind, body, and wairua (spirit).

Move between soothing geothermal soaks, contrast hot and cold pools, and hydrotherapy features designed to awaken circulation, ease muscle tension, and encourage deep relaxation.

Inspired by the healing traditions of Ngati Whakaue, each pool invites you to slow down, reset, and reconnect within a calm and nurturing environment. Whether you are recharging between activities or seeking a moment of stillness, this experience delivers powerful restoration in a shorter, accessible format.

Important information

  • This experience is 60 minutes in duration
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your session time
  • Minimum age is 16 years old, photo ID may be required
  • Any medical conditions or serious allergies must be advised at time of booking
  • For your comfort and safety, we are unable to accommodate guests who are pregnant in the Restorative Bathing experience, due to the high temperatures throughout
  • Please inform the provider if a wheelchair hoist into the pool or any other special support services are required
  • Bathing suits are required to be worn at all times
  • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

There is a maximum of 15 participants permitted every 30 minutes.

This experience runs in all weather conditions.

Smart casual and comfortable clothing is recommended. Please bring swimwear, flip flops/crocks, and remove all jewellery before starting or leave it at your accommodation.
