Get ready for the ultimate adventure with this full day Snow Biking Adventure in the Southern Alps, located just outside of Queenstown. This is an epic, action packed day, where you will have a solid five hours of ride time, guided by a professional. All transfers to location are included.

Experience an unforgettable day out in the snow with this full day snow biking adventure. After being picked up at 7:30am, you will be taken to the location for arrival around 9:30am. Begin with a safety briefing, a short induction and avalanche safety talk, then it is time to ride! Don you goggles and carve up the snow, taking in the incredible views as you travel through the slopes. At midday, stop for a lunch with the rest of the crew before refuelling and heading out for your second round. Led by a professional guide the entire journey, you will be heading to the best spots and having the most fun, while staying completely safe. Transfers are included and you will be dropped back at the pickup location at around 5:30pm. This is the perfect day out in the snow, giving you the best snow biking experience in one of the most pristine spots in all of New Zealand!

Session Length

This experience has a duration of approximately five hours.

Restrictions

The tour requires a certain level of motorcycle riding ability and a reasonable level of fitness to participate. Participants found to be unable to safely ride the snow bike after an extended practice period will at the discretion of the lead guide be returned to base. Baring special circumstances no refund will be given.

Guidelines

16 years of age minimum
Any person 18 years and under can only ride with Parental Consent
Some prior motorcycle experience is required (Clutch, Gears and Brakes)
A reasonable level of riding fitness
The bikes are all 450cc so you will need confidence
Ability to use the throttle, clutch, gear lever, and brakes on a motorcycle
Experience consectutive hours in cold weather, the weather can change within minutes
Able to follow complex directions (Avalanche awareness, starting and stopping procedures, stay with your guide, tips on control)
You must inform the provider of any pre-existing medical injuries or conditions prior

Cancellation

Snowmoto New Zealand reserves the right to cancel any tour at any time (typically due to inclement weather, unsafe backcountry travel conditions or guide injury/sickness). In the event of cancellation, the customer will be offered the opportunity to either reschedule or receive a 90% refund.
Cancellations inside 30 days from the experience incur a 100% charge

Numbers on the Day

This experience runs with a minimum of two people and a maximum of ten people.

Under New Zealand law, it is extremely unlikely that you will be able to sue anyone if you are injured. New Zealand’s Accident Compensation Scheme (“ACC”) provides limited assistance for injury. It is strongly recommended that visitors to New Zealand have full insurance covering injury, illness and cancellation prior to taking part in this activity.
