After arriving at the check in point in Mt Count Village at 9am, you will be taken in the aircraft all the way to the two longest ski runs in New Zealand, each with over a thousand metres of vertical descent. With a small group size of eight people maximum and two professional guides per four people, this experience is safe and relaxed in pace, perfect for intermediate skiers. Soak up the breath taking views and grandeur of the highest peaks, before siting down as a group for your picnic lunch on the snow. Explore the jaw dropping ice caves and formations that add extra magic to this experience. This is the ultimate day out for the ski lovers that will have you in awe and remembering this snowy adventure for years to come.

Session Length

This experience has a duration of seven hours in total.

Guidelines

  • The minimum age for this experience is 10 years old
  • This experience is not suitable for snowboarding
  • Skis - at least 90mm wide underfoot.
  • Ski goggles or quality sunglasses.
  • Plenty of sunscreen.
  • A small backpack with water, sunscreen, and a spare pair of gloves.
  • Ski helmets are optional on the Tasman (no rocks)
  • Rental of skis, boots and ski poles available at additional charge

Cancellation

  • Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
  • The provider reserves the right to cancel if the weather is not safe/suitable for the aircraft or skiing. Guests may transfer to another day, if space, weather, and itineraries allow
