Set to a stunning island backdrop of prehistoric proportions, spend a day diving in the beautiful waters surrounding Little Barrier Island and amongst its abundant marine life. With the possibility of spotting dolphins, sharks and even whales, this is one of the best dive spots across New Zealand.
Enjoy a full day diving at one of New Zealand’s most incredible dive locations, Little Barrier Island. Head out for a 45 minute boat trip to the island and take two dives through the rocky reefs to explore the abundant fish and invertebrate life among the kelp forest.
The holes and cracks house many crayfish, perhaps the overflow from Tawharanui Marine Park and Goat Island Marine Reserve on the adjacent coast. Add red moki, painted moki, demoiselle and blue maomao and Little Barrier offers some of the best diving close to Auckland.
Please note this experience is for certified divers only.
