Set to a stunning island backdrop of prehistoric proportions, spend a day diving in the beautiful waters surrounding Little Barrier Island and amongst its abundant marine life. With the possibility of spotting dolphins, sharks and even whales, this is one of the best dive spots across New Zealand.
Enjoy a full day diving at one of New Zealand’s most incredible dive locations, Little Barrier Island. Head out for a 45 minute boat trip to the island and take two dives through the rocky reefs to explore the abundant fish and invertebrate life among the kelp forest. Catch a cray and take a feed home for the family.
The holes and cracks house many crayfish, perhaps the overflow from Tawharanui Marine Park and Goat Island Marine Reserve on the adjacent coast. Add red moki, painted moki, demoiselle and blue maomao and Little Barrier offers some of the best diving close to Auckland.
Please note this experience is for certified divers only. If you have not dived within the last 12 months you will need to contact us about a refresher course.
A minimum of four people are required for this experience. There is a maximum of 8 people per sailing.
Spectators may be allowed in the event of empty spaces, however this cannot be guaranteed.
Changes may be necessary due to weather conditions. Weather conditions will be confirmed 24 hours prior to sailing date.
Scuba gear will be required for this trip with wetsuits worn at all times.
