Was quite disappointed with the food and drinks(well lack of both) at the Verandah Cafe. Says on the voucher food and bubbles at the Cafe, saw none of that. Mark did apologise at the time of his disappointment of the quality of the food, and lack of it. This is the only part that definitely needs improving. I bought this as a gift for my wife which was advertised as a balloon ride with champagne/bubbly to finish however, this isn’t the case. The verandah cafe at Hamilton lake serves pretty average coffee at best which is where you go once the balloon is packed down which kind of put a crappy spin on the end of what was absolutely magic! The quality just wasn’t what we expected after the amount it cost. I would recommend Kiwi Balloon Co for an awesome trip but not this voucher as it doesn’t deliver what it advertises

Flight was really great, very relaxing and really safe, views was awesome. The highlight was the landing, not quite sideways on the ground, very cool.
