Embark on a Fly Fishing Trip with one of our specialist guides. Our guides have the local knowledge and expertise to show the competent angler where and how to fulfill their dreams, but they also have the patience and desire to see the novice fisherman enjoy and learn from their fishing experience.
Clad in chest waders, you can nymph or wet fly fish to your heart's content and when your arm tires you can stand and enjoy the amazing scenery that surrounds you. The trout can be sighted in the crystal clear streams, challenging your skills with the dry fly, nymph or light spinning tackle. The thrill of seeing a big fish rising to take a tiny dry is an experience not to be missed! On the streams and rivers 'catch and release' is the practice, however there are still some great photo opportunities and a wonderful day to be had. So when is the best time to go fly fishing in Taupo?
