Enjoy the lake's peacefulness as you gently glide along, enveloped by picturesque bays and magical snow-capped mountains that tell the story of Taupo's volcanic past. Sit back, relax and take it all in or up the excitement and help hoist the sails and take the wheel during your journey to Mine Bay. Only accessible by boat, the Maori Rock Carvings in Mine Bay have been hailed as one of New Zealand's most spectacular contemporary artworks and stretch a sheer 14 metres tall. Learn about their history and significance as your expert guides get you right up close for the perfect photo opportunity. On the trip home, you're invited to jump into the deep blue fresh water for a swim, or get involved with the sailing again.
