Take to the skies and discover the beautiful Christchurch city during this 20 minute scenic flight. From above, marvel at a landscape studded with expansive parks and botanical gardens, the serpentine Avon River, the volcanic Banks Peninsula and the busy port of Lyttelton.
A city with a diverse range of unique scenery, Christchurch and its surrounds can best be appreciated from the sky! Departing Christchurch Airport, your expert pilot will take you over an abundance of wide-ranging parks and trees, the lush banks of the snaking Avon River and the gorgeous botanical gardens. You'll then head over the magnificent Banks Peninsula, which was formed by three now dormant volcanoes, followed by the busy port of Lyttelton. On the return loop, you'll be treated to birds-eye views of the estuary, coastline and the seaside suburbs of Sumner and Redcliffs. Your friendly pilot will entertain you with the latest facts and point out city highlights as you soar high above.
