Sip and cycle your way around Hawke's Bay during this self-guided e-bike adventure following the Tuki Tuki River to the scenic Pacific Coast. Quench your thirst as you visit a number of world-class wineries including Black Barn and Te Mata Estate, and enjoy the incredible views at Cape Kidnapper.
After being fitted out with your e-bike, you'll be transferred to the start of your adventure at the Black Barn Winery. With Te Mata Estate and Akarangi very close by, you may want to treat your palate to a morning wine tasting before setting off on the 16km journey. The limestone cycle trail hugs the Tuki Tuki River all the way to the coastal communities of Haumoana and Te Awanga, offering stunning views over orchards, vineyards and farmlands and Cape Kidnappers. At the coast, delight in all your indulgent options for wine tastings. Elephant Hill, Clearview Estate and Te Awanga Estate all offer exceptionally fine wine, plus fantastic food for lunch. After riding, wining and dining, you'll be collected and transferred back to Ahuriri or your accommodation.
Please wear comfortable clothing for riding and enclosed shoes. Bring sunscreen, swimmers (if you want to take a dip in one of the rivers en route) and plenty of water.
