What's included?

  • Full safety briefing and equipment.
  • Ticket to explore 3 levels of the Sky Tower (including the main observatory deck) after your ride.

Take your adrenaline aspirations to the next level as you conquer New Zealand's highest drop from the Sky Tower, standing a sheer 192 metres above ground. After a briefing, your highly trained staff will rope you up securely and talk you safely up to the edge, until you find yourself hanging off the edge above Auckland City. Before you know it, you'll be plunging to the ground at high-speed for about 10 seconds, sending adrenaline throughout your entire body. After the drop, you'll be slowly lowered onto SkyCity plaza and given a free ticket to the observation deck for spectacular Auckland city views.

Important information

  • Please allow 45 minutes for this experience
  • Open from 9:30am to 4pm daily, excluding Christmas Day
  • Minimum age is 10 years old. Children 14 and under require an adult to sign consent at check-in.
  • Minimum weight is 35kg, maximum weight is 150kg (single person), and 225kg combined (tandem).
  • All participants must also undergo a breath alcohol test and any person impaired by alcohol or drugs will not be permitted
  • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Safety is the number one priority - so if winds exceed 70km/h for extended periods of time, they may need to delay or reschedule your activity.

Please ensure you wear comfortable clothing and lace up shoes.

From start to finish this was so much fun! The staff was super professional and thorough in the safety check process. Take time to look around and enjoy the view. I look forward to doing it again!
