Experience the thrill of outdoor rock climbing at Maungarei Springs, just minutes from Auckland's city centre. To create a safe, enjoyable and immersive experience, you'll be guided by a professional instructor who will offer expert instruction and tips on climbing techniques, route planning and gear usage.

You'll be equipped with the essential gear, including a helmet, harness and climbing shoes, as you scale the striking natural rock formations of basalt and columnar rock faces, offering a diverse range of routes to climb. Test out your skills, whether you're a beginner conquering a top rope climb or an experienced climber choosing from trad lead or multi pitch routes. In the great outdoors, take in the sweeping sights as you climb, with a stunning lake below and the cityscape stretching out around you.
