Be transfixed by otherworldly scenery during a half day self-guided bike ride along the Arrowtown Bridges Trail to Gibbston. At your own pace, you will cruise past the beautiful Arrow and Kawarau River gorges and across three suspension bridges, before reaching your pick up location.
Explore a river and mountain dreamland from Arrowtown to Gibbston on two wheels! You will meet your local driver in Queenstown who will take you on a 25 minute scenic drive to the charming historic village of Arrowtown. Once there, you'll get fitted to your bike and given a map, safety briefing and all the trail tips needed, before embarking on an awe-inspiring half day adventure. The Arrowtown Bridges Trail is an easy and mostly flat trail, that takes you past the stunning Arrow and Kawarau River gorges. Along the way, you'll discover the many moods of the rivers, from tranquil and calm to angry and powerful. The trail also sees you cross three suspension bridges, including the Kawarau suspension bridge, home of the original bungy. From there, continue into Gibbston, where you'll be picked up from a designated winery and delivered back to Queenstown. There are no shortages of photo ops throughout your journey, so make sure to stop, have a rest and admire the scenery.
