This school holiday surf camp is a great way for youngsters to spend the Summer holidays, learning whilst having fun on the beautiful beaches of Whangamata. With perfect waves on which to learn, this camp encourages keen young potential surfers to be safe and simply enjoy their time in the water.
This children's school holiday program is a fun surfing development camp spread across three days on the Whangamata coat. With an aim that participants learn and progress with ocean safety and theory techniques within three days, this is an intensive program that never stops being fun. Day one of this camp starts off with surfing and surfing-related activities including balance boards, exercise balls and games. Day two includes two surf sessions and an end-of-day beach clean-up, while day three also includes two surf sessions. If for some reason the sun isn't shining and the waves aren't breaking, skateboarding will be substituted for those sessions. Encouraging a new outlook on how children view the ocean and with an ECO-friendly point of view throughout the camp, this experience will inspire the next generation to protect our playground!
What to Bring
