Keeping experiences COVID-Safe 

Please be aware of COVID-19 restrictions before booking and follow government guidelines. Our experience providers are doing everything they can to ensure your experience is enjoyable and COVID safe.

Gift vouchers, gift cards and experience vouchers

At RedBalloon we exist to enrich life’s story with our amazing range of experiences. To that end we have now extended all RedBalloon Gift Cards, Gift vouchers and Experience Vouchers purchased on or after 1st Oct 2017 to 5 years (60 months), we will also hold the price of your experience for the first 18 months from the date of purchase (after that we will hold the $ value for the remaining 42 months). This extension is an additional 2 years across our whole range (24 months) to enjoy, gift or share your experience (this does not include previously booked experiences).

With 5 years to book*, now is the perfect time to choose an experience as a gift you know they can look forward to and that will support one of the 1800+ small businesses across Australia.

What happens if I book now and restrictions change or lockdown is extended?

You can reschedule or rebook your experience for free. We offer 5-year validity and free exchanges on all vouchers, gift cards and e-gift cards

Will staff and other customers be vaccinated?

Please refer to government guidelines for restrictions based on COVID-19 vaccination status.

Does the operator have minimum numbers due to COVID?

Operators must adhere to capacity restrictions in line with state government guidelines. After booking your experience, please feel free to check capacity restrictions with the operator.

Do I need to be vaccinated to go on this experience?

What if I have a voucher that’s about to expire?

All vouchers and gift cards from RedBalloon purchased on or after Nov 1st, 2017 will be extended for a further 2 years (24 months) from the purchase date to ensure you have the flexibility to complete your amazing experience.

If I buy a voucher, how long have I got to use it?

All RedBalloon vouchers, e-gift cards, gift vouchers and retail gift cards purchased on or after 1st October 2017 are valid for 5 years except where the experience has already been booked in. We honour the purchase price of the experience for 18 months. If you don’t book within that time and the price of the experience increases, you can either pay the difference or exchange the voucher for another experience free of charge.

What if I want a voucher delivered by post?

The safety of our staff and customers is important to us. We are following the government guidelines so that we can continue to deliver vouchers in our famous red envelope to you or your gift recipient.

Please note: Deliveries to some areas may be delayed due to COVID-19. To find out if your delivery is impacted contact the courier company on your shipping confirmation directly.
