Set sail and experience the splendour of Lake Rotoiti aboard the luxury catamaran, Tiua. With a group of up to 35 people, discover native bays and sandy coves, visit the remote lake edge thermal hot pools, paddle board into glow worm caves and uncover cultural sites.
Lying in the east of Rotorua, the serene Lake Rotoiti offers a haven for both nature lovers and city slickers alike. Assemble your crew and board Tiua, a luxury 53ft long sailing catamaran and explore this stunning location on a three hour tour. Under sail, your professional skipper and crew will take you on a truly personal experience, mixing a host of activities and scenic delights. Fish for rainbow trout, soak in the lake edge thermal pools only accessible by boat, paddle board into glittering glow worm caves, explore tucked away sandy coves and hear stories of Maori legends. Delicious meal and beverages options are available on request to compliment this charter. With a spacious saloon, covered cockpit and deck areas, you can enjoy your sailing adventure in all weather.
This experience is three hours in duration.
Whilst it is rare to cancel due to weather this is a restricting factor. Pure Cruise will remain in contact in the lead up to a charter to make final decisions for the safety of guests, crew and the vessel.
This is a private experience for up to 35 participants.
This experience will not operate in extreme high winds. Bookings will be rescheduled.
Please bring sunglasses, sunscreen, hats, clothing suitable for an outdoor activities, swimwear and a towel. Soft soled shoes are preferred.
