Your experience begins when you arrive at our base and meet with our friendly and passionate staff. Every member of staff is a skydiver so we completely understand your excitement, because of this we make sure every experience is individual and personal. We will put on a DVD and give you a comprehensive briefing. Once we have worked out the loads we take you through to put on your jump gear and harness and then climb onboard our aircraft. You will enjoy a 20 minute scenic flight to altitude over two national parks, snow capped mountains, golden beaches and turquoise oceans, Paradise!

When it’s time for your jump, will you be nervous, excited or both? If this is your first time skydiving, then nothing can prepare you for the exhilaration and adrenalin you will feel in the moments before your jump. Strapped safely to your instructor, who will be with you and looking after you during your skydive, you will look out at the expanse of country stretching out beneath you and…jump!

Once you leave the aircraft you will freefall approximately 50-55 seconds and have a sensation of unparalleled freedom. You will reach speeds of 200km/h through the air! At the conclusion of your breathtaking flight, your tandem instructor will open your parachute and together you will float safely to the ground, finishing with a smooth landing in front of our base building.

Venue:

Motueka Airport. Complimentary return transfers are available between Nelson and Marahau.

Session Length

This experience is available all year round, excluding Christmas Day, by appointment only. We operate from morning to afternoon. Please allow between two and three hours for this experience. You will be freefalling for approximately 50 seconds during your skydive.

Guidelines:

Children under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign for them on the day, however this experience is not recommended for children under 10 years of age. There is a maximum weight limit of 100kg. We request that you inform us of any medical conditions you have at the time of booking.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. You will be with your tandem master during the experience. We can accommodate up to four passengers on each flight.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome. The landing site is right in front of our base, allowing for great views and photo opportunities.

Weather:

This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of poor weather conditions we may reschedule your experience for a later date. Please call us if you are in any doubt.

Other Info:

You can purchase photos or video footage of your skydive for an additional fee. This is payable directly to the supplier on the day of your experience.
