Experience spectacular views high above Queenstown by gondola. The best views in the region are found here, spread out in an awe-inspiring 220 degree panorama from Coronet Peak and The Remarkables, over Queenstown and across Lake Wakatipu to Cecil and Walter Peaks!

After presenting your voucher to the operator at the gondola base, you'll receive your ticket to board the gondola for a scenic ride high above Queenstown.

Once on the gondola, you're in for the ride of your life as you experience stunning views over Queenstown and beyond. From Coronet Peak and The Remarkables and across Lake Wakatipu to Cecil and Walter Peaks!

Upon arrival at the top terminal, you will exit the gondola and make your way into the complex at the top. You are free to look around at your leisure, including access to numerous viewing decks overlooking Queenstown and the surrounding lakes and mountains.

After you have viewed the stunning scenery at the top of the complex, you are welcome to re-board the gondola at the top terminal and enjoy the descent back down to the gondola base.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Session Length

The gondola is open all year round, from 9am to late. The ride takes between 4 – 10 minutes (one-way) to rise 450 metres to the complex high above Queenstown.

Guidelines:

The gondola ride is suitable for anyone! We also cater for wheelchair bound customers (please notify us at the time of booking if you require disabled access).

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We can cater for up to 1100 people per hour in 4 person cabins on the gondola and up to 330 people in the restaurant at one time.
