Photo Shoot and Makeover
This 2 hour makeover and photo shoot will be an unforgettable pampering experience and a real confidence booster - you will walk out positively glowing! The results are crisp, clear, natural images with a contemporary energy and genuine warmth.
Our professional make-up artists know how to make the most of your colouring and help you achieve any look. It's a good time to ask questions so that you will be able to takeaway any tips to be able to professionally apply your make-up on your own.
The second hour is your chance to shine: our award-winning photographer guides you through the ways to pose to look your best - and makes it fun! You don't need to know anything before you start. Your photographer will take you through putting together the outfits you brought, taking advantage of lighting and poses. Our studio has beautiful, natural light to help capture you in the best light. This is the hour to bring along family and friends to enjoy capturing all the special moments you ever wanted - or you can choose to have all the focus on you.
You will return with your loved ones for a 1 hour viewing session of your beautiful images a week later. We will personally gift you a beautiful image from your Sitting experience making this whole package fantastic value. You can, of course, purchase additional images you love and with a wide range of presentation options you'll find the right ones to suit you and your home.

Venue:
Central Auckland - Located in the heart of Ponsonby.
Session Length
15 minute Consultation on a day prior to your sitting. 1hr professional makeover for face and hair; 1hr photo shoot. 1hr private viewing a week later. Consultations during reception open hours 9:30am - 5pm. Sitting start times (daylight savings): 10am to 3pm Sittings (non-Summer): 9am to 2pm.
Numbers:
Sittings are just for the client, their family and/or friends - as arranged with you. Our photographer and make-up artist focus on you.
Spectators:
Yes. The first hour during the makeover can be dull to watch but friends and family are welcome to be there throughout - especially in the second hour during the shoot. Viewings are a great time to invite family and friends.
Other Info:
We are available other times by appointment: Saturdays for a $50 fee – after hours Viewings on Tues-Wed. Our photography studio was established in 1993 - the first in Auckland to incorporate makeovers with portrait photography & we’re still getting 5/5 client satisfaction!

I very much enjoyed the make-over experience, it was a lovely Christmas present. I thought the make-up artist was excellent, I certainly looked great. The photographer was relaxed and talkative, it certainly helps you to relax when being photographed.

The make up artist and the professional photographer did a great job of making me feel at ease and less nervous during the shoot. They were very friendly and it was wonderful working with them.
