Come and feast on a full course meal of adventure! This 2 hour “Waterfall and Forest Track” buggy tour takes you deeper into the West Coast wilderness advancing through challenging trails while becoming increasingly immersed in the spectacular surrounding scenery.
The two hour “Waterfall and Forest Track” takes you on a buggy ride like you’ve never known before. It’s the perfect balance of challenge and scenery as you explore around delicately cut trails through undisturbed native rain forest which has been beautifully preserved to showcase some of the most incredible scenery unlike anywhere else in New Zealand.
You’ll venture over hills overlooking valleys carved by glaciers, along flowing streams and stony rivers, inside narrow windy trails surrounding in tall trees, through boggy farmlands and mud puddles leaving you with the satisfaction of having done something you will never forget!
The West Coast is known for its high amount of rain fall, and the motto for this tour is “the wetter the better.” The tracks have been specifically designed to tolerate some of the harshest conditions and exploit what most people take shelter from, into something that produces exceeding amounts of fun!

This experience is not affected by weather and tours will depart rain or shine - the wetter the better!
Waterproof pants, jacket and boots are included with the tour. They will keep most of the mud out and much of the water but don’t wear your best clothes. You shouldn’t need to change at the end of your adventure. It’s recommended wearing socks for inside the gumboots.
