On this self guided tour, take yourself along the river by foot, by bike and by boat. First you'll walk from Jones Landing to Arapuni Dam before jumping on your bike and heading to Little Waipa or beyond.
In the afternoon or early evening, head out along Pokaiwhenua Stream for a gentle paddle as you gaze at the glow worms guiding you.
This is a self guided adventure with plenty of opportunity for you to stop for photos or take in your surroundings.
A zero alcohol and smoking policy applies.
Minimum numbers are required for this to proceed.
Please bring warm layer clothing (preferrably not cotton) as evening temperatures do drop. No jeans. Overpants, splash jackets and wetshoes will be provided.
Cameras are okay for going upstream while it's still light - they are no good after dark as the flash will spoil the viewing of the Glow Worms for yourself and others on the tour.
This experience takes place in Piarere, Waikato - 15 minutes from Cambridge, 45 minutes from Rotorua, 45 mins from Tauranga.
