Are you Holden hero, a Ford Fanatic or just someone who likes V8's? Come and get into one of our race prepared V8's and feel the thrill and excitement as you take to the track at the Taupo Motorsport Park for 10 laps of driving and adrenalin pumping fun.

Your on-track experience starts by getting suited up in our race suit and race boots then into our tuition car for an introduction lap around the circuit with one of our in-car consultants talking you around the track while you're in the passenger seat. This will give you an idea of what to expect and what you've got yourself in for! And if you want, you can take a spectator along for the ride so they can experience the thrill of being on a racetrack.
Having chosen your favourite, it's now time to drive it! Get strapped into one of our V8's and experience the stunning performance of these cars as you and your instructor lap the circuit at speeds you never thought possible for a car. With your laps complete but your heart still racing, you head back to the pitlane where you receive a presentation pack including certificate complete with your fastest lap time as proof that it wasn't just a dream.
Session Length
- Your experience includes 10 driving laps and will take approximately 1 hour
- This may vary depending on the amount of drivers in the session
Restrictions
Drivers height must be between 155 and 185 cm, maximum weight is 140kg.
Guidelines
- All drivers must be over 14 years of age
- 14-18 year olds must have a parent/guardian present
- A drivers license is not required to do the experience
Cancellation
Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to their policy.
Numbers on the Day
The price quoted is for one person. There will be other drivers on track at the same time but on-track numbers will be limited. All V8s will have an instructor in it at all times.
Weather
In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the provider. Wet tyres will be fitted if it is felt the conditions require it. In a case of extreme adverse weather, your experience will be rescheduled by the provider.
Dress Code
Comfortable, casual clothing. A race suit, boots and helmet will be provided for the duration of the drive.
Other Info
You will be required to sign a release waiver prior to driving. You are liable for any damage to the car while you are driving. An indemnity waiver fee is available to purchase on the day which will reduce the excess that you would have to pay.
This experience is located 5 minutes drive from the Taupo township.
