The outstanding commentary and fantastic viewing areas allow you to enjoy playful Hector's, bottlenose, or dusky dolphins as they come into view, with a 90% encounter rate. You will also see New Zealand fur seals and numerous other seabirds before landing at Motuara Island for an hour long nature walk to remember. You can choose whether to explore the island on your own or go with your knowledgeable guide who will point out the resident blue penguins, rare saddleback, bellbirds, robins, pigeons and kakariki (parakeets).
After your walk, sit back and relax on the boat with a hot drink and biscuits as you head back to Picton, keeping an eye out once again for any dolphins that come out to say hello or any other species you discover.
There will be up to 30 people on the boat.
