What's Included?

  • Three hours scenic cruise
  • Bagel with your choice of salmon and cream cheese or jam
  • Onboard commentary
  • Tea, coffee or hot chocolate

Rich with island sanctuaries, thriving native birdlife, pristine waters and stunning beaches bound by native bush, Queen Charlotte Sound/Totaranui is a wonderful place to cruise through. Departing Picton, you will take in the gorgeous scenery that surrounds before visiting the Kaipupu Wildlife Sanctuary. Stroll around the easy 2.7km loop track and spot the little blue penguin nesting boxes and other native birdlife along the way. You'll also have the opportunity to get up close to Allports/Motu Ngarara Island, coated in nearly a century of regenerating native bush, whilst learning about its intriguing history, which included regular police raids in search of an illicit whiskey still. Then, stop off at the sheltered Double Cove marine reserve with a backdrop of picturesque native bush and feed the resident tame fish. A bagel with your choice of delicious Marlborough Regal salmon and cream cheese or jam is included.
