Take to the track and discover the world of mountain biking, on an e-bike! Experience all the thrills of mountain biking, and the added bonus of effortlessly gliding up the hills and soaring through the forest like a pro! With return transfers from Rotorua, all you have to do is have fun!
This experience begins in Rotorua, where you'll meet your guides and matched up with an e-bike. Set off with your guides and ride for 15 minutes through geothermal areas to Redwoods Mountain Bike Park. This is a very scenic route which offers great local sites as you get used to the gearing and electrical components of the bike.
Once at the park, your guides will show you some of the tracks and the favourite local spots before giving you the chance to explore for yourselves. On your e-bike, you'll have no trouble getting around the park! After two hours, meet up with your guides to stop for lunch - you can bring a picnic or arrange with the experience provider for lunch to be provided at additional cost.
After lunch, enjoy another two and a half hours in the park, before being dropped back to Rotorua at approximately 3:15pm, with a newfound appreciation for the power of e-bikes!
Please wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing. A fleece is provided but you may also want to bring a light rain jacket.
