Walk the track up to the Haruru Falls (unguided) and stand in awe at the falls. Meet your guide at the falls and enjoy a guided kayak tour down the Waitangi Inlet back to base.
Take a breath of nature as you walk (unguided) up to the Haruru Falls from the beach base. Journey through beautiful native bush, over bridges and along a boardwalk through the mangrove forest. This track is a comfortable 5 kilometres in length and should take about two hours.
Your guide will meet you at the end of the track and take you for a breath-taking paddle from the base of the falls down through the historic Waitangi Inlet back to the beach base. You will get to experience the unique horseshoe-shaped Haruru Waterfall, enchanting mangrove forests, and be able to enjoy interesting and diverse wildlife in their natural habitats.
Your guide will share with you the rich local history and Maori legends. They will also be taking photos of your experience on the tour, which will be available online in high resolution for you to download, at no extra cost

This experience is weather dependent.
As you will get wet up to your knees, it is suggested you wer shorts or pants you can roll up. Please wear footwear you do not mind getting wet - the best is water shoes/sandals or flip flops. Please ensure you dress to the conditions.
