Paddle the day away on Lake Wanaka on this guided tour. Explore some of the regions beautiful landscape en route to Mou Waho Island where you’ll stop for a gourmet picnic lunch on the beach before a scenic cruise back to Wanaka to complete a perfect day on the lake.
Explore Lake Wanaka by kayak as you paddle through some of the regions most iconic, remote and beautiful landscapes towards the “gem” of the lake, Mou Waho Island.
Meet your guide in the morning and gather your equipment and kayak before setting off on this full day experience. There will be about 12-14km of easy paddling. Once you reach Mou Waho Island, enjoy a short walk of this protected island where the views are next to none. Relax on the beach with a gourmet picnic lunch and relax at the waters edge or venture up to the island look out for some spectacular views.
To top it off catch a scenic boat cruise back to Wanaka (kayaks on board) for a relaxing and well deserved afternoon. With Mt Aspiring Park towering over the lake, this trip will definitely give you something to write home about!
