Your scuba diving course will teach you to dive and introduce you to the underwater world around Auckland. Your worldwide diving licence is your passport to explore tropical reefs and corals in exotic locations. NZ has some of the most amazing diving in the world and it's the perfect place to learn.

Training is conducted over a series of classroom and pool sessions, followed by your open-water dives. The course is run over three weeks – 6 evenings and 1 weekend.

On the first evening of your diving course you’ll meet with your dive instructor and run through a bit of theory and the basics of diving practice. Then on the following sessions we’ll mix up a bit more theory with some pool sessions, until you are comfortable with the basic dive skills. Once you’re ready, we’ll leave this confined water environment for the open water.

The price of the course includes all your tuition, materials, scuba equipment hire and certification fees. You will need to supply your own mask, snorkel and fins. A special package discount is available if you would like to purchase these, or you can hire them for the duration of the course for $50 directly from the supplier.
