Cruise Auckland's Waitemata Harbour on board a 50ft yacht whilst enjoying tea and fresh coffee and feast your eyes on the highlights and action around you! The harbour is a vibrant place and a yacht cruise is a great way to see Auckland from a new angle. You might even try your hand at sailing!

Auckland's Waitemata Harbour awaits! This 50ft Lotus 1500 is a splendid way for any kid to spend 90 minutes. Have a delicious sweet treat and drink as you get to see Auckland from a position of privilege. Don't forget to bring your camera for this fabulous time out on the harbour!

Upon boarding the yacht, your skipper and crew will introduce themselves and take you through a safety briefing prior to departure. During your 1.5 hour cruise you will be sailing on our specially-built 50ft yacht - Lotus 1500 model.

We then leave berth and cruise to more sheltered waters in the Viaduct where you'll enjoy your choice of fresh coffee, tea or hot chocolate plus a delicious sweet treat.

If you're feeling active you might want to take the helm, trim the sales and help sail the yacht! This is an experience that you will always treasure.

Session Length

Cruises depart daily at 1pm and 3.15pm. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure and allow 1.5 hours for the cruise itself.

Guidelines:

No prior sailing experience is necessary - should you wish to participate in sailing the yacht our instructors will show you all the ropes and provide thorough instruction. Bring extra money as we have a cash bar on board for the 1pm cruise (no EFTPOS facilities). And remember your camera!

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We have four yachts and can accommodate up to 18 people on each.

Weather:

We will sail in almost all weather conditions. Should we have to cancel the cruise for safety reasons, we will reschedule for a later date. The inner harbour is well sheltered from sea swell so it remains relatively calm in high winds.

Other Info:

We require you to complete an awareness form explaining any medical conditions and a confirmation of parental supervision of any children. You will be charged the full amount if you cancel and provide less than 24 hours notice from the time of departure.
