A private fishing charter is the perfect way to spend an enjoyable two hours with your friends or family. On the pristine waters of Lake Taupo you'll fish for rainbow and brown trout.

During your fishing charter you will fish for rainbow and brown trout, if time allows our staff can barbeque or sashimi for you to enjoy as a tasty snack. Alternatively, you might choose to take the fish away with you and have them smoked or cooked at your accommodation.

Our experienced skippers and crew are sure to make this an experience you won't forget!

Please Note: Only four lines can be fished at any one time. Fishing licences are required and can be purchased on board for an additional cost.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Session Length

Private fishing charters are available for bookings seven days a week, all year round, excluding Christmas Day. The duration of your charter will be 2 hours, however we can extend your time for an extra cost. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability.

Guidelines:

Fishing charters are suitable for people of all ages. We have full bar facilities on board so we suggest you bring some extra money if you wish to buy drinks. You might also want to bring your camera. All fishing tackle is provided.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for a minimum of two and a maximum of 12 people. You will be on the boat with your own personal crew. Larger groups can be accommodated - please contact us to inquire.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

Our launches have fully enclosed areas and heating, so don't let the winter months deter you from taking a charter! In the event of extreme weather conditions the charter may be rescheduled to a later date.

Other Info:

Fishing licences must be purchased on board for an additional cost. Arrangements can be made with the supplier for catering, prior to your experience. Tea and coffee are complimentary.
