'Hugo' DVD Giveaway - Terms & Conditions

HOW TO ENTER

To enter, simply email contest@redballoon.com.au and tell us in 25 words or less a mystery about your family. You must answer the question, include your mailing address, and use a valid email address to be eligible. Each winner will receive ‘Hugo’ DVD.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  1. Submission of entry is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
  2. The winners will be selected based on how intriguing their 25 words or less answer is.
  3. You must use a valid email address and include a valid mailing address to be eligible.
  4. Promotional period commences 15/05/2012 and closes 18/05/2012 at midday (AEST). No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected claims.
  5. The winners will receive their prize by 14/06/2012.
  6. The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion and fulfil prizing. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. Promoter's privacy policy can be viewed at www.redballoon.com.au/general/privacy.cfm.
  7. Entry is open to Australian residents.
  8. Employees of the Promoter, RedBalloon Pty Ltd, the Promoter's associated companies, the Promoter's agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
  9. Only one entry into the competition per person will be allowed.
  10. Contact details entered incorrectly shall invalidate the entry. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incomplete, damaged or incomprehensible entries. All such inaccurate, incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. Any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions will be invalid.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, at any time during or after the promotion, and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant (and ALL entries submitted by that entrant) for tampering or interfering with the entry process or any other activities which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. Failure of the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted from that source invalid.
  12. DVDs will be sent to the postal address provided via Australia Post. No responsibility will be accepted for lost or misplaced goods.
  13. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, age and residence. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. If the winner is under 18 years the prize may at the absolute discretion of the Promoter be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian.
  14. Prizes or any unused portion of a prize are not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash as illustrated in our voucher terms and conditions.
  15. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance of the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
  16. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion, as a result of taking or using any of the prizes, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter and any person associated with it, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  17. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
