See Queenstown from a totally different perspective as you take the scenic gondola ride to a height of 450m! Enjoy the stunning scenery that this region is renowned for and then indulge in a delicious buffet dinner for two overlooking the surrounding lakes and mountains!

After presenting your voucher to the operator at the gondola base, you and a friend will receive your ticket to board the gondola for a scenic ride to the top of the peak. The gondola ride elevates to a height of 450m and takes between 4-10 minutes to rise to the top to get to the restaurant. Once at the top, you and your friend can indulge in a 'Taste Of New Zealand' buffet dinner (beverages not included) for two high above Queenstown. Our restaurant is fully licensed so there is no BYO however we have a wide range of drinks for you to choose from! With fabulous views of the surrounding area, you'll wish that this experience could last a lifetime!

After your meal, feel free to look around at the views offered by the complex and you and your friend can re-board the scenic gondola at anytime for the ride back down to the base of the mountain.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Session Length

The gondola is open all year round, from 9am to late. The ride takes 4–10 minutes (one-way). The restaurant is open for dinner from 6pm to late (this package is valid everyday except Christmas Day and New Years Eve). Bookings are essential. Please book at least 1 week in advance.

Guidelines:

The gondola ride and restaurant experience is suitable for anyone! We also cater for wheelchair bound customers (please notify us at the time of booking if you require disabled access).

Numbers:

The price quoted is for two people. We can cater for up to 1100 people per hour in 4 person cabins on the gondola and up to 330 people in the restaurant at one time.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

This experience is not affected by the weather, although poor weather may obsure the views.

This experience includes a return trip on the gondola and a buffet dinner for two people. The restaurant has selected sitting times (early sitting times 5.45pm, 6.00pm, 6.15pm or 6.30pm – tables to be vacated by 7.45pm; or later sitting times at 8.15pm, 8.30pm or 8.45pm).

    This experience was a wedding gift - what a wonderful idea! We had a lovely evening - great views, food, service. Very special night for both of us.

    The Gondola experience was extremely pleasing. The food and service at the restaurant was excellent and overall very worthwhile.Not to mention how brilliant it was to see the surrounding scenery from the restaurant area.
