Enjoy a 10 minute scenic helicopter flight over stunning Nelson. Take in the views as you climb out over Tahuna Beach, Port Nelson's, the Barnicott Range, Stoke, Richmond and Rabbit Island.

On arrival at our base, you will meet your pilot and if time permits be offered a tea or coffee prior to your scenic flight.

Your pilot will discuss your flight with you and your friends; he will then show you the helicopter and give you a safety briefing. Afterward everyone climbs on board ready for take-off.

Experience stunning scenery around Nelson and all from a bird's eye view. Take in the Nelson CBD and enjoy the waterfront and scenic foothills as Richmond spreads to the south.

Your flight is ten minutes in duration. Upon landing, your pilot will ask you to wait in the helicopter until our friendly ground crew can help you out of the helicopter and back into the hanger.

At the end of your scenic flight, you and your friends are welcome to have a chat and ask any questions about the flight or the helicopter.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Session Length

This experience is available daily, weather permitting. Please book a few days in advance. All bookings are subject to availability. Total flight time is 10 minutes.

Guidelines:

Weight restrictions apply. You must be able to get in and out of the helicopter.

Numbers:

Price is based on a minimum of 2 participants, there will be a maximum of 4 people onboard.

Spectators:

Family or friends can watch your flight take off and land from the safety of our helicopter base.

Weather:

This experience can be affected by the weather. We like to confirm by phone the night before a flight where possible. In the case of poor weather, we will reschedule your flight for a later date.
