Learn To Fly In Christchurch! You're up and you're off, flying yourself for 30 minutes in a great helicopter. What could be better than a flying experience over one of New Zealand's most beautiful cities? There's nothing you can't do after you learn to fly, hover and land in a helicopter.

This experience is learning to fly, hands-on all the way! Forty minutes is just right - not too long not too short. By the end, you'll know how to take off, how to hover, how to fly and how to land. With a qualified instructor beside you, navigating a helicopter will certainly go down as one of your best experiences ever!

Venue:

This experience departs from Christchurch Airport , just outside the Christchurch CBD.

Session Length

This amazing experience is 40 minutes including an informative pre-flight pilots briefing. It operates every day except Christmas Day, a few times a day between 8am and dusk. Bookings are essential.

Guidelines:

Max participant weight is 105kgs

Numbers:

This is a one on one training experience with a qualified instructor so a maximum of one passenger is required, however we can take multiple bookings and budding pilots can take turns.

Weather:

All flights are weather dependent. If you flight is postponed due to weather, it will be rescheduled for the earliest possible opportunity. If bad weather looks likely, we'll let you know ASAP.
