Enjoy a 3-day motorbike tour through the far North of NZ and the grandeur of the Bay of Islands. Feel the breeze, smell the rich and vibrant potions put out by the natural beauty of some of the world’s most spectacular scenery. Experience the freedom on a Harley Davidson Motorcycle.

DAY 1

Our motorcycle tour begins with an early morning pick up from your Hotel / Motel.

This morning we make a start heading through Auckland and onto the Twin Coast Discovery Highway where we stop at the well known Matakohe Kauri museum. It is now time for lunch and time for you to discover some of the local history.

After lunch we carry on through the grandeur of the Waipoua Forest to Tane Mahuta the oldest and largest surviving native Kauri tree in NZ. We then follow the western coastline along to Omapere where we will be staying on the edge of the beautiful Hokianga Harbour.

DAY 2

This morning we catch the ferry across the Harbour and head towards Cape Reinga. We will be stopping along the way for a well deserved break before reaching the most northern point in New Zealand where the Tasman Sea and Pacific Ocean meet.

We then make our way through to Doubtless Bay where we will be stopping for lunch in the wonderful seaside village of Mangonui. From here we make our way down through the historic town of Kerikeri and into the magnificent Bay of Islands where we will be staying in Paihia. After settling in for our second night you can sit back, relax and enjoy a wonderful meal on the waterfront of this most beautiful harbour.

DAY 3

Cruising out to Cape Brett and the famous Hole in the Rock, you have the choice of either taking the more relaxed 4 hour journey onboard a luxury Catamaran stopping at one of the Islands along the way. Or you can be thrilled with a 1.5 hour high speed journey aboard the Excitor, a 60 foot jet boat fitted with twin 800 horsepower engines.

Now that we are back on dry land its time to head off once again on our way down the Eastern coastline, through Whangarei the major city in Northland to Waipu Cove for a well deserved break before making our final leg to Auckland.

Session Length

This experience is a multi day tour with the tour starting at approximately 8.00am on each day. This experience operates all year round (except Christmas day) and weather permitting. Please note that it is advised during the summer period, tours should be booked at least two weeks in advance.

Guidelines:

Minimum passenger age 7 years. On this experience you ride as a passenger, however a self-ride option is available for an additional cost.

Numbers:

We cater from the individual through to tour groups. As a rule we try to keep our numbers to a maximum of 10 people per tour so our guides can interact with our you on a more personable level. We have no minimum number.

Weather:

Due to the nature of our tours the weather can have an adverse affect on our tours. If this is the case, we will re-schedule the tour.

Cancellation within 7 days of the tour start date will mean that all payments are forfeited. A Terms and Conditions Waiver must be signed by every individual prior to the start of the tour. Accomodation is based on Twin Share. An additional single supplement is payable for single occupancy.
