Main Description

We have a selection of cliffs with varying difficulty providing an experiential trip that it both fun and challenging. We can also provide you with further instruction in climbing techniques and technical information that is important when getting out on the rock.

All technical equipment including rock shoes will be provided. Your safety is paramount to us, that’s why all of our rock climbing instructors have New Zealand Outdoor Instructors Association qualifications (NZOIA) and our instructor to client ratio is kept at a maximum of 1:4.

Our instructors have an extensive knowledge of the Wakatipu area and are extremely enthusiastic and experienced in catering for a variety of climbing abilities.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

Queenstown.

Session Length

We operate daily, departing at 9am. Please allow up to 8 hours per trip. Bookings should be made a few days prior or in the case of large groups, please book in advance. Not available between 29th April and the 1st Oct.

Guidelines:

No previous experience is required. A reasonable level of fitness is essential. You must be at least 7 years of age and all children under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult. We have a wide range of cliffs, from short gentle pitches to overhangs, providing routes suitable for almost anyone.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We operate with small groups to ensure personal attention during your experience.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

We operate in most weather conditions. In the case of poor weather, we will reschedule your experience for a later date.

Other Info:

All of our guides are qualified in outdoor instruction and are members of the New Zealand Outdoor Instructors Association (NZOIA). Regular maintenance and safety inspections are carried out on all cliffs and their attachments, with harnesses, helmets and equipment checked daily.
